I've finally reached the last day of this 25-day meme challenge. The theme is a picture of your all time favorite band/singer, but instead of posting just a picture, I'll turn this into a pimp post.


Meet Yeng Constantino! Back in 2006, she joined a reality tv show name Pinoy Dream Academy. I didn't follow the show to be honest, but even if you follow it or not, it became a widespread news and common knowledge in the country that among the participants of the show, Yeng won the title "Grand star Dreamer," and thus started her music career. Her debut song, Hawak Kamay (just skip the first 30 seconds), was a phenomenal hit. I remember back then that it's always the number 1 requested song for weeks in certain radio stations. The Title of the song means "I'm by your side" in English. There's also an English version of the song, made by a foreign fan of Yeng.

I've been a fan of hers ever since she debuted. actually I was a closet fan before xD She's one of the few artists who writes their own songs, and her lyrics are either inspirational or situations you could relate to. Her music videos are always known to be cute, colorful, and creative.


This music video Wag Na is my favorite. This is directed by Sir Avid (also my favorite). It's really creative, from her room to the heartbroken kit to the mini stage in the living room. The song is about comforting someone who's hurt. The title Wag na means "don't" or "stop," it is used in the lyrics along the lines wag na mag alala, meaning don't/stop worrying anymore.
